New France CEO for Colliers

Colliers International has recruited Olivier Gérard from CBRE to become its new CEO for France.

He will succeed from Gilles Betthaeuser, who has moved to the role of chairman and returned to a more client-facing role.

Gérard brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in French and international real estate, including the past eight years as managing director of transaction services at CBRE in France. Prior to that he was with Cushman & Wakefield, where he held the position of CEO for eight years, and before that he spent six years at JLL leading capital markets in France.
