Mutuactivos SGIIC has signed a service agreement with Azzam Vivienda S.L.U., a company within the Azora Group, to manage its new investment fund, Mutuafondo Vivienda Premium, FILPE, the first Spanish fund under the European Long-Term Investment Fund (FILPE) format with a dual purpose.
The fund offers a unique solution for homeowners over 65, allowing them to sell their primary residence while continuing to live in it for the rest of their lives, providing liquidity without requiring them to move. At the same time, it enables investors to participate in a diversified portfolio of residential real estate assets, creating a new market opportunity in Spain.
Azzam will provide end-to-end real estate services, covering property acquisition, tenant support, rehabilitation and eventual resale. The company will also represent the fund in homeowners’ association meetings and manage all operational aspects to ensure smooth execution of the fund’s strategy.
