MPC Energy Solutions has brought its combined-heat-and-power plant, Neol CHP, in Puerto Rico into operation.
The plant was developed and constructed by Enernet Global, MPC Energy Solutions’ strategic partner, and is expected to generate 26 gigawatt hours of energy per year. It is also expected to generate nearly $1.9 million in annual revenues under a long-term power-purchase agreement with pharmaceutical company Neolpharma.
MPCES owns a 95 percent stake in the project.
