MPC Capital holds €66m second closing for open-ended ESG fund

MPC Capital has added new institutional investors to its open-ended AIF, ESG Core Wohnimmobilien Deutschland fund.

The fund has raised €66 million ($75 million) more in a second closing, increasing the equity base of the fund to more than €140 million ($158 million). The total volume is expected to grow to €300 million ($339 million).

Launched in December 2020, ESG Core Wohnimmobilien Deutschland will focus on sustainable residential projects that meet a comprehensive catalog of criteria. MPC Capital said the locations and properties considered for purchase must meet specific requirements measured in terms of energy, social and corporate ethics.
