Morrison Street holds $200m final close on debt fund
Morrison Street Capital has held a $200 million final close for Morrison Street Debt Opportunities Fund, reaching its fundraising target, according to IREI’s FundTracker database.
Morrison Street Debt Opportunities Fund opened in first quarter 2015. It is a core-plus real estate fund that will invest in mezzanine debt of U.S. properties.
Some of its most recent transactions include the PNC Center, a class A office building in Indianapolis; the Franciscan at Bear Creek Apartments, a class A apartment project in Euless, Texas; and the Hilton Alexandria Old Town, a 252-room hotel in Alexandria, Va.
During fundraising, the fund received commitments from a range of investors, including $5 million from the $275 million Spokane (Wash.) Employees’ Retirement System in February.
