Australian infrastructure investor Morrison & Co has completed the third and final close of its Morrison & Co Growth Infrastructure Fund (MGIF), increasing the fund size to A$580 million ($414 million). An equity fundraising target was not disclosed.
Both new and existing investors contributed to the final close.
The firm said it has identified an attractive pipeline of investments for the MGIF portfolio to help upgrade and build businesses that address fundamental societal needs for the future. Initial investments reflect emerging trends in infrastructure, including water, energy and sustainable agricultural assets.
