Montego Minerals has announced its launch of Montego Capital Fund 4, its fourth income and growth fund. This $75 million offering is focused on acquiring mineral assets in West Texas.
Montego Capital Fund 4 is a diversified fund that will invest in oil and gas properties in the Permian Basin of Texas and other regions of the United States with shale formations.
According to a spokesperson, this fund provides investors with the opportunity to invest in the oil and gas industry, while avoiding the personal risks that come from drilling or risk exposure.
Montego Asset Management, the fund sponsor, collects royalty payments from the drilling operators and then distributes the funds to investors. The firm is a family office of petroleum engineers and geologists who invest in oil and gas royalties and mineral rights.
