Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers dedicated to sustainable finance, has raised €1.2 billion ($1.4 billion) in a second closing of its flagship energy-transition fund, Mirova Energy Transition 6 (MET6).
The fund was backed by both returning investors and new partners. With a target fund size of €2 billion ($2.3 billion), Mirova confirmed it plans to continue its fundraising efforts throughout 2025.
MET6 invests in greenfield, brownfield and corporate infrastructure across Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries. Target sectors include renewable-energy production, including solar photovoltaic; onshore wind and hydropower; energy storage; low-carbon mobility; and energy efficiency.
