Millennials are moving into management

Millennials have seen a lot in their short lifespan when you consider when they came of age as adults and what they have experienced: 9/11, the dotcom bubble, the Great Recession, an increase in cost of living for homes (both to rent and to buy), an increase in student loans, and more.

But there’s an upside to the millennial generation.

“They’ve also benefited from the largest expansion in the history of the United States,” said Brian Zrimsek, industry principal at MRI Software. “You can somewhat argue that when millennials entered the workforce in the early 2000s, they had to take not the job they wanted when getting started because it was tough economic conditions. But those early millennials are about to have their 20th high school reunion in a few years, and they are about to turn 40 years old, and the youngest of that cohort are in or just starting their car
