MIDIS invests €117m in Kobus Partners’ Spanish solar portfolio

Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions (MIDIS) has invested €117 million ($140 million) in a 37.7-megawatt portfolio of Spanish solar projects.

The portfolio, which is owned by Kobus Partners, consists of 22 operational solar plants capable of powering more than 14,500 homes.

MIDIS said it was the largest single investor in Kobus Partners’ €207 million ($249 million) refinancing. The investment was made on behalf of European and Japanese pension schemes and insurance clients.
