Hyde has formed a strategic partnership with M&G Investments (M&G) in a drive to attract new sources of responsible capital into shared-ownership housing.
The partnership plans to fund a £500 million (€584 million/$699 million) pipeline of around 2,000 high-quality, sustainable, shared-ownership homes and help aspirational home owners take their first steps in the housing market.
The first stage in the partnership sees M&G Investments make a £61 million (€71 million/$85 million) purchase of 422 shared-ownership homes in London and Kent from Hyde through a new shared-ownership fund.
