McGuireWoods has appointed Jeffrey Shah, who advises private equity funds and strategic acquirers on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, as partner.
Shah brings more than a decade of experience in domestic and cross-border deals to the firm’s New York office. He assists with partnership, purchase and employment agreements and equity incentive arrangements, representing clients in conventional and renewable energy transactions, as well as in healthcare and technology deals.
“Jeff’s impressive experience, particularly in upmarket deals, enhances our ability to deliver unmatched service and value to our clients,” said Thomas Zahn, chair of the firm’s corporate & private equity department.
Shah’s arrival follows the recent appointment of Houston M&A partner Edmund Daniels, earlier in June.
