Matter Real Estate launches as an independent real estate investment firm

Matter Real Estate has spun out of ESO Capital to create an independent, direct real estate investment firm focused on value-add and opportunistic real estate across evolving sectors in Northern Europe.

The team at Matter follows the same proven investment strategy as they did when part of ESO Capital, which is based upon taking an operational approach to helping management teams aggregate real estate assets and build scaled platforms. It focuses on evolving sectors where there is structural demand but barriers to large-scale investment. These sectors include but are not limited to build-to-rent, single-family residential, affordable housing, senior living, and primary healthcare. By partnering with management teams as co-owners and providing them with everything they need to grow to scale, Matter helps to meet this unmet demand and unlock value.
