The $180 million Weymouth (Mass.) Retirement System’s board is seeking proposals from qualified investment managers specializing in closed-end, value-added real estate investment funds.
Weymouth Retirement System is considering making a commitment of up to $5 million and may select more than one manager. The pension plan will consider either private equity real estate investment funds that make direct investments, or a fund of funds. Proposed strategies should be reasonably diversified by geographical location and sector.
