Manulife Investment Management has formed a strategic partnership with ARCH Capital Management, a Hong Kong-based Asia-focused real estate-investment boutique. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The strategic partnership between the two firms will have combined real estate assets of $5.2 billion across 12 markets in Asia.
“This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to the fast-growing Asia region and will allow us to add even more value to our investors with broadened deal access, deepened investment management capabilities, and enhanced operational support,” said Christoph Schumacher, global head of real assets, private markets, Manulife Investment Management.
