Major central London development project moves forward

Southwark Homes and developer Sellar have submitted plans for a 444 bedroom purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in King’s Place in London, along with 1,850 square meters (19,913 square feet) of flexible office and employment space.

Southwark Homes instructed Savills to seek a forward-funder for the major central London development, which has a wellness and sustainability focus.

King’s Place is centrally located and within a short walking distance of Southbank University, Kings College and University of the Arts campuses ,as well as local attractions such as Borough Market, the Southbank, The London Eye, the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe.

Construction is due to start in early 2024 and completion is expected in 2026.
