Madison Park Financial Corporation (Madison Park), a Bay Area developer of innovative, urban mixed-use properties, has announced that Simon Chen has been made chief operating officer.
Chen joined Madison Park in 2004 and assumed the role of chief financial officer in 2008. As chief operating officer, he oversees Madison Park’s investment, development and management operations, in addition to continuing to direct the corporate finance functions.
“Over his 15 years with Madison Park, Simon has demonstrated disciplined and skillful leadership in executing our growth strategies, as well as structuring and executing new investments and development opportunities,” said John Protopappas, president and CEO of Madison Park. “Moving forward, Simon will continue a lead role in pursuing our new growth initiatives and partnerships as we further expand in the Bay Area, Pacific Northwest, and throughout the West Coast.”
