Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) has appointed Anna Elmfeldt as managing director and head of Nordics.
Reporting to Jiri Zrust, head of country coverage and origination for MIRA in Europe, Elmfeldt will be responsible for identifying new investment opportunities in the Nordics for MIRA’s suite of infrastructure and real asset funds. Elmfeldt will also oversee asset management activities and engagement with stakeholders for MIRA across the region.
“We have been an investor in the Nordics for more than 15 years and today manage critical infrastructure businesses in Denmark, Finland and Sweden,” said Leigh Harrison, head of MIRA EMEA. “Anna’s appointment represents an exciting opportunity to deepen our commitment to the region — utilizing Anna’s deep understanding of Nordic markets and significant experience in the infrastructure sector to further grow our local investment portfolio and relationships.”
