Lou Jug joins JLL Securities as managing director

Lou Jug has joined Jones Lang LaSalle Securities as a managing director within its real estate investment banking and equity placement platform.

Jug will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with institutional investors and investment consultants.

Jug brings extensive experience in institutional real estate, most recently serving as managing director in the Global Investors Group at Affinius Capital (formerly USAA Real Estate) from 2018 to 2025.

Prior to Affinius, he held various roles at MetLife Investment Management, Fortress Investment Group and Clarion Partners.

Jug began his institutional investment career at the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), where he served as senior principal investment officer, portfolio manager and principal investment officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in restructuring CalPERS’ equity real estate portfolio and oversaw its expansion from $6 billion to $12 bill
