The London Fund hits $270m in commitments

The London Fund has secured an additional £45 million ($62 million) in a second close, bringing the fund’s total committed assets to £195 million ($270 million).

The latest investment was added from the London Borough of Haringey Pension Fund and follows an earlier commitment of £150 million ($207 million) seed investment from the London Pensions Fund Authority. A fundraising target was not disclosed.

Launched in 2020, The London Fund is a partnership between London CIV and Local Pensions Partnership Investments, which will focus on investing in London’s housing and infrastructure. The fund specifically targets investments in the city of London, the 31 London boroughs and their immediate surroundings, in specifically build-to-rent and affordable housing assets, community regeneration projects, digital infrastructure, and clean energy infrastructure.
