Lincoln Property Company Southeast has acquired land to build two new industrial developments in Kennesaw, Ga., and Calhoun, Ga.
The projects total more than 800,000 square feet of industrial product, and the development in Calhoun will break ground this year. Lincoln’s Turner Fortin and Colin Beecham will oversee construction, marketing and leasing of the buildings.
In Calhoun, Lincoln will be developing a 400,000-square-foot industrial facility on Belwood Road just off of I-75. The building will sit an equal 50 miles to Chattanooga and 50 miles to I-285, providing proximal access to the closest major cities. Lincoln is constructing the building with tenant convenience in mind, offering amenities such as covered parking and an outdoor grill and lounge area. Construction will begin in third quarter and is expected to wrap up by summer 2023.
