LGIM and NTR focus partnership on climate concerns

LGIM and NTR have partnered to jointly tackle the climate emergency, providing institutional investors in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia access to the €1 trillion ($1.2 trillion) European energy transition in 2022.

LGIM’s Real Assets arm actively invests in and manages assets across commercial, operational and residential property sectors, as well as infrastructure, real estate, corporate and alternative debt. The global asset manager assesses more than 16,000 companies under its ESG scoring methodology.

In addition, NTR has more than 20 years of experience in investing in and managing clean energy assets on behalf of investors. NTR has constructed and operated nearly 3 gigawatts of wind, solar and energy storage projects across Europe and the United States. Since 2015, the renewable-energy specialist has acquired and managed renewable energy investments on behalf of third-party institutional investors through its renewable energy funds.
