Legal & General has announced it has acquired Quarry House in Leeds, England, for £243 million ($302 million).
The 373,913-square-foot office asset is leased to The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for 25 years.
Representing its 11th Government Hub deal, the deal brings its investment into the Government Hub program to more than £1.5 billion ($1.9 billion) and investment into Leeds to more than £1.1 billion ($1.4 billion). It is also L&G’s second government hub investment in Leeds in the past month, having purchased Wellington Place on behalf of HMRC and NHS Digital in August.
