Lendlease and joint venture partner Aware Super, one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, have closed $316 million in construction funding for the development of Habitat, a mixed-use development in Los Angeles.
Habitat will comprise a six-story, 253,000-square-foot office building; a 12-story, 260-unit multifamily building; and 2,900 square feet of retail and restaurant space, complemented by an integrated acre of open space in the Culver City submarket. Office amenities include a welcoming lobby with niches for gathering, fitness center, hospitality-inspired locker rooms with showers, and end-of-trip facilities for cyclist commuters. The residential building, set for completion in early 2026, offers 260 ultra-luxury rental units with a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom unit types.
