The government of Lebanon has issued a call for expression of interest (EoI) for three large-scale solar projects of up to 300-megawatt peak (MWp) in total, coupled with energy storage capacity.
Lebanon’s Center for Energy Conservation is looking for companies willing to design, develop, finance, build and operate between 210 MWp and 300 MWp of photovoltaic parks with battery storage. The plants will be located at different sites in the Western Asian country, as chosen by the developer.
The deadline for submitting EoIs is July 12. A request for proposals will be the next step in the competitive selection process.
