First Republic Bank, a private bank and wealth management company, announced that a leading wealth management team led by Jim Atwood is now part of First Republic Private Wealth Management.
Atwood is joined by senior team members Jeff Atwood, Tom O’Brien, Julie Rousseau, McClane Cover, Brendan York and Zach Calahan, along with client services and operations professionals.
The team, formerly of Merrill Lynch, will provide investment management, retirement planning and other wealth management services to individuals, families, businesses, nonprofits and foundations.
Jim Atwood has more than three decades of experience directing the design and development of customized wealth strategies for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Barron’s magazine named him one of the “Top 100 Financial Advisors in the Nation” from 2012 to 2016 and the top wealth adviser in Massachusetts in 2014. Forbes recognized him as the top adviser in Massachusetts in 2018.
