LD&D announced that its $200 million mixed-use project in downtown Tampa, Fla., will be branded as Cass Square, and include a luxury multifamily tower named DoMo, retail offerings and an Element by Westin hotel, in partnership with Dynamic Group, for its hospitality component. LD&D acquired the two-acre parcel for $10 million in April 2023, and has just selected Coastal Construction Group as the general contractor. This latest venture marks a significant milestone for the firm, as the project is poised to invigorate the city’s central business district.
The first phase of the two-acre development is anticipated to break ground in summer 2024, beginning with DoMo at Cass Square. The 28-story luxury multifamily building will comprise 360 apartments, more than 45,000 square feet of amenity space, a 586-space parking podium and 32,500 square feet of ground-floor retail.
