LCIV Renewable Infrastructure Fund adds another $337m in capital

London LGPS CIV has completed a second close of its LCIV Renewable Infrastructure Fund, adding £247.5 million ($337 million) from five investors.

This latest fundraise brings the fund’s total assets to £682.5 million ($930 million).

LCIV Renewable Infrastructure Fund invests in both greenfield and brownfield assets, including generation, transmission, distribution and enabling assets. The fund was seeded in March with a £435 million ($593 million) investment from five initial client funds.

“I am pleased to welcome an additional five client funds into this fund,” said Mike O’Donnell, CEO of London CIV. “It is a product that supports our ongoing commitment to ESG integration and managing climate risks, so it is great to see so many of our client funds investing in sustainable opportunities.”
