LaSalle Investment Management and Frankfurt, Germany–based fund manager Universal-Investment have acquired Ploum & Blaak House, two connected office properties in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The purchase was made on behalf of BVK, Germany’s largest pension scheme group with €77 billion ($85 billion) in assets under management.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The two assets are modern, high-quality office spaces with a combined rental area of 17,000 square meters (182,986 square feet). The six-story Ploum House is currently undergoing renovations, scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2019. Dutch law firm Ploum is a tenant in the fully let building. Blaak House is a seven-story property that has been recently fully redeveloped internally and is let to the service operator Tribes. The two buildings are located at Blaak, a major thoroughfare of the Rotterdam CBD with strong road, metro and tram connections.
