LaSalle acquires fully let office property in Berlin

LaSalle Investment Management has acquired a fully-let office building, Charlottenstraße 82, in central Berlin, on behalf of a German institutional investor client. With this acquisition, LaSalle is strategically growing the Pan-European portfolio, which is managed for the client through the Institutional Investment Partners (2IP) platform.

Located in the south of Berlin’s city-center Mitte district, the property was constructed in 1913 and most recently refurbished in 2021. It offers more than 4,000 square meters (43,056 square feet) in leasable area, all of which is single let on a long-term basis to the German Federal Ministry of Finance and near other government ministries and corporate offices. The building benefits from strong public transport connections via the Kochstraße (U6) and Stadtmitte (U6 and U2) underground stations.
