La Caisse announced the appointment of Emmanuel Jaclot to the position of executive vice president, infrastructure. Jaclot will start on June 1.
In this role, Jaclot will manage la Caisse’s infrastructure portfolio, which totals more than C$16 billion ($12 billion) in assets. He will also eventually head CDPQ Infra, la Caisse’s subsidiary responsible for developing and operating infrastructure projects.
Before joining la Caisse, Jaclot held key positions in world-class organizations, including Schneider Electric, a global energy management leader, and EDF Energies Nouvelles, a subsidiary of EDF specializing in renewable energy. In his previous roles, Jaclot managed major merger and acquisition transactions around the world, through which he developed an expertise in both investing and post-transaction asset management.
