Emerging markets executive Samer Jumean has joined KPMG as its new head of infrastructure advisory for Saudi Arabia and the Levant Cluster, IREI has learned.
KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services.
Jumean brings more than 25 years of investment, financing and privatization/restructuring experience in the infrastructure, energy and industrial sectors to his new role. In addition to advising company boards on developing and implementing far-reaching restructuring strategies, Jumean acted as lead financial adviser to project sponsors, EPC contractors and export credit agencies on structuring and financing substantial infrastructure projects. His clients also included governments seeking to privatize, optimize public sector debt and promote foreign direct investment.
He most recently served as a partner, UAE and Dubai at Synergy Consulting, an independent global financial advisory firm. His last day was Sept. 19.
