KKR & Co. has collected $698 million for its first Asia-focused real estate fund, KKR Asia Real Estate Partners, according to a recent filing with the SEC.
Opened in 2019, KKR is targeting an equity fundraise of $1.5 billion, according to Reuters, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Approximately 21 investors backed the Asia investment vehicle.
KKR Real Estate is a global provider of equity and debt capital across real estate investment strategies. As of March 31, KKR had more than $10 billion of assets under management, including proprietary investments.
