KKR has provided a $300 million corporate financing facility to Origis Energy, a renewable-energy and decarbonization solution platform, via vehicles and accounts managed by its insurance business.
Proceeds from the financing facility will support the continued development and construction of Origis’s pipeline of solar and storage projects.
Origis was recently ranked third on S&P Global Commodity Insights’ list of the 10 largest owners of planned solar installations through 2028.

KKR said this investment aligns with its Asset-Based Finance (ABF) strategy, which focuses on privately originated and negotiated credit investments that are backed by large and diversified pools of financial and hard assets.
