KKR has hired Melissa Kivett as its first head of defined contribution to lead the alternative asset manager's efforts to develop products and partnerships to sell private assets into 401(k) plans, reported Bloomberg.
Before joining KKR in December 2024, Kivett served as managing director and head of enterprise strategic relationship management at Prudential Financial, then as executive vice president and head of retirement solutions and business development at TIAA.
“Melissa brings deep knowledge and experience building partnerships with stakeholders across the DC ecosystem,” Daniel Celeghin, chief operating officer for global client solutions, said in an emailed statement.
At KKR, Kivett will lead the firm’s alternatives business as well as its Global Atlantic annuities. She will report to Global Atlantic co-presidents Rob Arena and Daniel Celeghin.
