Kaufman, Silverstein and Bedrock unveil $2b mixed-use development in Queens

Kaufman Astoria Studios, Silverstein Properties and Bedrock Real Estate Partners have unveiled their $2 billion plan, Innovation QNS, in Astoria, Queens, N.Y.

The site spans five blocks from 37th Street to Northern Boulevard, between 35th and 36th Avenues, adjacent to the neighborhood’s Kaufman Arts District.

The 2.7 million-square-foot mixed-use project will span 26 stories and add 2,700 units of mixed-income housing. It will consist of 250,000 square feet of office space, 200,000 square feet of retail, a 90,000-square-foot community facility, an 80,000-square-foot grammar school and a new movie theater.
