Julie Donegan has joined the California State Teachers' Retirement System as a portfolio manager.
Previously, she was a senior vice president at Franklin Templeton Investments; a role she held since 2010. And prior to that, she was a director at Perseus Realty Real Estate Investors and a senior vice president at Eastdil Secured.
The $248.3 billion pension fund has a real estate target allocation of 13 percent and an actual allocation of 13.77 percent, or $34.193 billion, as of Nov. 30.
