Office attendance continues to increase globally, according to JLL.
The average work from office days is now 3.1 days per week globally. Hybrid work is the most common work style across the world, where 87 percent of organizations report having a hybrid program and nearly 50 percent are planning to expand this in the next three years. JLL finds hybrid working patterns are broadly settling on three days in the office, with office attendance clustering around Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Only 15 percent of organizations currently specify defined days for employees to be in the office, creating challenges for companies in long-term planning and management of their office space. As hybrid programs mature, many employers are looking to enforce more regularity in specific office days.
