The majority of employees of an office setting are missing the informal social interactions, according to data from JLL’s Global Benchmarking Services.
JLL’s report indicates the provision of services and amenities within the workplace around health and well-being will increase, and the future hybrid office workplace will heavily rely on technology, requiring seamless connectivity between office and home.
With the current focus on cost efficiency, some organizations will be willing to rationalize their office footprint over the short-to-medium term, but JLL client surveys point to a flight to quality assets and locations, which is likely to benefit high-amenity, highly connected CBDs.
