JLL has appointed Christopher Stent as executive managing director of investor relations and corporate finance.

He will be responsible for communicating the firm’s strategic priorities, as well as leading JLL’s global corporate finance programs.

Stent will be located in the company’s corporate headquarters in Chicago and report to Stephanie Plaines, JLL CFO.

Stent was a founder of Mission Street Capital Advisors, an investor relations and financial advisory firm with expertise in shareholder engagement, investor messaging and targeting, stakeholder articulation, financial communications, proxy solicitation and SEC reporting.

Stent formerly served as vice president of investor relations at McDonald’s Corporation, where he led the department and was the primary contact for a large network of analysts and global institutional investors.

Prior to that, he served as an investment banker at William Blair and Company, a partner at PW Capital, and a brand manager at Unilever.

Stent earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

He is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute Senior Roundtable and Steering Committee.
