Jasandra Nyker has been appointed CEO of Nala Renewables, a renewable energy company focused on investments in solar, onshore wind and power storage projects globally.
Assuming her position on April 1, Nyker brings more than 20 years’ experience in renewable and clean energy, from a project development, investment and acquisition perspective.
Before joining Nala Renewables, Nyker was managing director at Denham Capital Management in London, where she was involved in investing in and overseeing renewable power projects in Latin America, South East Asia and Africa.
Prior to this, she spent eight years as CEO of BioTherm Energy, an African independent power producer, which she built into a leading pan-African investment platform focused on the development of wind and solar assets.
