Japanese JV to buy majority stake in Irish wind portfolio

Tokyo-based investment trading company Sojitz Corp., Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance and utility company Kansai Electric Power have acquired a 60 percent stake in the an Irish company, Invis Energy, that owns 223 megawatts of wind farms.

The portfolio of wind farms is estimated to be worth €300 million ($355 million).

Invis Energy will retain a 40 percent stake.
