Jackson National Asset Management launches real assets interval fund

by Andrea Zander

Jackson National Asset Management has launched its second interval fund, a real assets strategy, subadvised by Cohen & Steers and First Sentier Investors, reported CityWire.

The fund, Jackson Real Assets fund, launched on April 29, according to a filing on the firm’s website.

The fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80 percent of its total assets (net assets plus the amount of any borrowings made for investment purposes) in public and private investments in the United States and globally in investments that provide exposure to the following real asset classes: real estate, infrastructure and natural capital, which consists of resources derived from the natural environment and includes, but is not limited to, agriculture, farmland and timberland.
