The Italian real estate market remains attractive to investors, and it is expected to bring in a record €11 billion ($12 billion) of investment in 2019, with €4 billion ($4.4 billion) planned for the last quarter of the year, according to the eighth edition of the annual COIMA Real Estate Forum.
This figure is significantly higher than the annual average investment of €7.9 billion ($8.77 billion) over the past five years.
About 23 percent of Italian real estate investment capital flows came from domestic investors and 77 percent from international markets: 22 percent from North America, followed by France (23 percent), United Kingdom (10 percent), Germany (8 percent) and Asia Pacific (5 percent), with other investments originating from the remaining financial markets (9 percent).
