Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation announced the recent hire of Doug Angstrom to senior director, institutional services. He will be based in Austin.
As senior director, Angstrom will work closely with institutional investors and investment consultants as part of the Institutional Services Group. He will be responsible for covering and expanding Intercontinental's institutional relationships nationwide, with a focus on Texas and the Southwest region of the United States.
Angstrom founded Angstrom Capital Advisors in 2009 to market investment management strategies to institutional allocators. Prior to Angstrom Capital Advisors, Angstrom was managing director – head of public funds at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from 2002 to 2008.
