Indonesia Investment Authority forms data center partnership with GDS Holdings

GDS Holdings, a developer and operator of data centers in Asia, has formed a partnership with the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, to develop and expand the data center landscape in Indonesia.

GDS and INA plan to form an equity joint venture as the vehicle for developing a countrywide data center platform. The two entities recognize Indonesia’s potential as an emerging data center market and share a vision regarding the pivotal role that data centers play as a cornerstone in Indonesia’s digital transformation.
