IndiGrid has completed acquisition of Gurgaon Palwal Transmission Ltd. transmission project from Sterlite Power at an enterprise value of Rs 1,080 crore ($150 million).
IndiGrid’s asset portfolio will now consist of 10 power transmission projects, with a total network of 25 power transmission lines and seven substations extending over about 6,080 circuit kilometers (3,777 circuit miles) and 10,735 mega volt amp (MVA)  in 15 Indian states.
The GPTL sale is its ninth asset transfer to IndiGrid.
Commenting on the acquisition, Harsh Shah, CEO of IndiGrid, said, “This acquisition is in line with our strategy to acquire accretive assets with low operating risk and long-term certainty of cash flows.
