Immobel, the largest listed property developer in Belgium, has sold shares of the company that owns Commerce 46, a sustainable office building in Brussels, to Allianz Real Estate.
The property is situated on the corner of Rue Belliard/Belliardstraat and Handelsstraat/Rue du Commerce in the European Quarter in Brussels. It is carbon-neutral and uses environmentally friendly forms of energy, such as geothermal energy and solar. The building has 12 floors and a surface area of 14,200 square meters (152,847 square feet).
Immobel has owned this building since 2018 and will deliver it in third quarter 2022.
