Illinois Teachers commits $100m to real estate

The $45.8 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Illinois has committed $100 million to Westbrook Real Estate Fund X, according to David Urbanek, director of communications.

The value-added fund managed by Westbrook Partners is looking to raise $2.5 billion and will invest in Western Europe, the United States and Japan.
