Illinois SURS commits $50m to Longpoint Realty Fund II

The Illinois State Universities Retirement System (SURS) has allocated $50 million to Longpoint Realty Fund II, a value-added fund managed by Longpoint Realty Partners, according to a June 9 statement by SURS.

Longpoint Realty Fund II will invest in logistics properties throughout the United States.

The investment vehicle had raised some $258 million from 11 investors as of June 4, according to an SEC form D filed on that date. An equity fundraising target was not disclosed.
